Big MHL Surprises in Store at CES 2016

We’re super excited about CES 2016 happening in Las Vegas, January 6 - 9th! As you know, MHL lets you connect your immersive content to a bigger display and we’ll be doing a “BIG” reveal. Of what? We can’t tell you just yet, so you’ll have to wait and see it at the show or follow us on our social channels for real-time updates.

For those that are attending CES, here are the details on our booth, demos and how to schedule a meeting with our team. Be sure to swing by our booth to learn how to participate in our fun Scavenger Hunt. Travel the halls, find MHL products, snap a picture, and win a prize. Brilliant Displays to Help You Get the Most Out of Your MHL Experience

Philips is a well-known brand in the monitor business that’s established a track record for offering displays with truly innovative form factors and features catering to users of all types. One way for us to differentiate our products is to incorporate technologies such as MHL, a connectivity standard that enables consumers to connect their smartphones and tablets, into these displays.  Once the mobile device is connected, all of its content is mirrored onto the larger screen offering a variety of possibilities. It’s a 24-inch gaming monitor with incredibly fast 144 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. That kind of performance means that even the most graphically intense mobile games will run smoothly and look fantastic.

For consumers in this camp, Philips offers the BDM4065UC, a 40-inch 4K monitor. It’s a great solution for cord cutters or other consumers who use their smartphones as the primary source of their video content, like college students. It has a large 40-inch screen that delivers beautiful 4K video (both Netflix and Amazon are now streaming 4K content), making it a perfect fit for a dorm room or apartment.
